LOKA 44 LIVING

What began as a love of travel, hospitality, and a desire to serve others has grown into a multi-faceted marketplace ministry designed to help Jewish and Christian women of faith live a fuller, more abundant and joy-filled life. Chanda Levy leads the way as founder and CEO of LOKA 44, LLC, the parent company of five brands, each focused on living a modern, Biblically-based lifestyle, all designed to improve a unique aspect of well-being. The company specializes in weight-loss and well-being; travel planning for soft-adventure, wellness, cultural, food-focused, and Judeo-Christian travel; eco-friendly and sustainable real estate services, as well as a variety of spiritual resources for all ages.

The company’s name holds an auspicious meaning for Chanda. LOKA is a Sanskrit word that means world, and the number 44 is a very significant number for Chanda and her husband, Paul, an award-winning journalist who is also her business partner.

Fascinated with travel since she was a child, this Virginia native knew early on that travel would be a major part of her life’s work. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Sales and Meeting Management at Johnson & Wales University, Chanda’s love for the hospitality industry led to her working in several high-end luxury hotels in many different capacities.

She later relocated to Florida, earned a Master’s Degree in Management, and started her own independent travel agency, LOKA Travel, in 2006. Her discerning eye for detail and intense focus earned her a loyal clientele. She then shifted her focus to specializing in what she knew best – the high-end travel market.

After a series of life challenges, she decided to pursue an education in wellness as an additional avenue to help herself and others. She attended the acclaimed Institute of Integrative Nutrition, earning certification as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach (INHC). She quickly understood that her approach in everything moving forward needed to come from a whole-life perspective, and she wanted to help others do the same. As a licensed Realtor®, she is also pursuing her certification as a WELL Accredited Professional through the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), as a way to help others create healthy, efficient homes. The IWBI focuses on designing sustainable and efficient homes and commercial buildings.

Chanda is a Certified Travel Associate (CTA) by The Travel Institute, member of Signature Travel Network, a global, luxury travel consortium, as well as a member of the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA), the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA), and the World Food Travel Association (WFTA). She is also a member of the Realtors® Association of the Palm Beaches and the Green REsource Council, a National Association of Realtors Green Designee, and a Certified Living in Place Professional (CLIPP) by the Living in Place Institute.

She believes that faith and action go hand in hand. Chanda is driven to help others create the life they’ve always wanted to live. As an influencer, Chanda believes there is no separation between living both a good and Godly life at the same time. She believes that the way to an abundant, fulfilling, and joy-filled life of shalom is simply to Live the Good Life…. God’s Way!

When she is not creating additional avenues for helping others, Chanda enjoys traveling the globe, being a kinda-Kosher foodie, and spending time with her husband and their fun-loving, sometimes ornery Yorkie, Rumi! The three of them happily reside in a sunny little beach town in Florida. Learn more about Chanda, Paul, and their Kingdom work at www.loka44.com.
